"Thursday
night was great at Newark. Approximately 2500 people in attendance,
Ralph Ringstad got many cheers and clapping. The whole event was
exciting."
Hi,
Well the Newark organ made is unofficial debut last night (Thursday, June 28, 2001). The organ was used for the Newark East Side graduation ceremonies.
Ralph Ringstad Jr. was the organist and with full organ he had trouble hearing it with all the background noise before the graduation. As things settled down the audience gave their approval with three rounds of applause.
The ceremonies started with a vocalist and the Star Spangled Banner and then Ralph played Chariots of Fire and Pomp & Circumstance for the graduation and some fillers. He played about 30 minutes non-stop before the ceremonies.
The GSTOS can stand proud of the accomplishments at Newark.
